Our journey began in 2019 with Alexis, Matthieu and Arnaud as our founders. Today we are a global leader in carbon accounting , we’re B-corp certified and a recognised member of the French Tech 120.
Greenly supports over 3,000 companies across more than 20 countries to measure their carbon footprint (through carbon assessment and life cycle analyses), reduce their emissions (SBTi trajectory and action plan quantification), and comply with new regulations (CSRD, CBAM, ISSB).
We are a team of 270 people from 38 nationalities based in Paris, London, Barcelona and New York, which allows us to strengthen our international presence.
Today, our impact is measured in tons of carbon under management, with over 110 million tons of CO2 tracked through our platform. Our next milestone : serving 10,000 clients and managing one billion tons of CO2 to make carbon management as essential as financial management.

🌱 Joining the Product Team :
Product Engineering Interns at Greenly work within our Product team, whose goals include providing clear and valuable insights to help companies understand their emissions and develop effective climate strategies for reduction.
Through this offer, we have 3 different internships that we will be looking to cover within different squads of the Product team. The skillset required for all three internships similar from one to another, but the tasks and responsibilities involved will differ slightly.
Concretely, the three internships are as follows :
👉 A. Reporting automation engineer:

Automate and Enhance Reporting
- Improve and develop new automated slide reports using Python, JavaScript, Slide APIs, empowering clients to independently generate high-quality, end-of-mission deliverables.
- Focus on scalability, reliability, and user autonomy, ensuring reports are both informative and easy to use.

Develop Insightful Dashboards
- Build useful datasets using SQL, TypeScript, React (data extraction and transformation, no ML).
- Utilize Luzmo (low-code tool) to create user-friendly dashboards that help clients analyze their results and define effective climate strategies.
👉 B. Software engineer:

Developing new functionalities for Greenly's platforms

Develop with Quality and Speed: You will build end-to-end functionalities using our tech stack (TypeScript, React, Express). Your work will be guided by principles like Test-Driven Development (TDD) and KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid) to ensure we can move fast without sacrificing the quality and maintainability of our codebase.

Embrace Full-Cycle Problem Ownership: Your role starts long before the first line of code. You will dive into user feedback, collaborate with product and design to form a hypothesis, and then build the most effective solution. You will own the problem from initial concept through multiple cycles of feedback and refinement.

🌱 Skills and traits necessary to succeed for either role :
- 🔧 Engineering Diploma: You are currently pursuing your Masters defree in an Engineering School and have an outstanding track record.
- 💻 Software development skills
- Must have : familiarity with Python and SQL
- Preferred : familiarity with JavaScript / TypeScript, and knowledge of the react framework.
- 🚀 Fast-growth : You are a quick learner and love agility. You want to learn new skills and you are not afraid of going outside your comfort zone.
- 🧩 Problem solving Mindset: You have a strong ability to think critically and creatively, providing effective solutions to complex engineering challenges.
- 🦾 Ownership: You enjoy taking responsibility for your work and have great ambitions.
